The home-compostable difference. Most compostable poop bags are certified for industrial facilities only, which is a problem since those facilities rarely accept pet waste. A note from us
Pogi was our Frenchie. He had two non-negotiable walks a day, one before coffee, one after dinner. We learned to count rolls the way other people count loaves of bread.
The bags we bought kept failing in small, awful ways. Pinholes you only noticed in the apartment elevator. Edges that ripped on the pull. We started doubling up, which felt wasteful, and was.
So we spec'd our own. Thicker film than anything we'd bought. Perforated edges. And certified compostable. The bag we wanted to clip to his leash. Same spec now.

How thick are these bags?
Both formats are noticeably thicker than the grocery-style bags that tear, and tie-handles are the thickest of the line. We pressure-test every batch with up to 5 lbs of weight. No tears, no surprises.
Are these really compostable?
Yes, independently certified compostable. The bags carry AS 5810 (home) and AS 4736 (commercial) verification from the ABA, plus EN 13432 (EU) and NF T51-800 (France). Compost them at home or via a council FOGO / green-bin organics collection where one is offered.
Are they scented?
No, every compostable bag is unscented, with nothing added. Just a clean, strong bag.
Do they fit standard leash dispensers?
Yes. Each roll is sized 3.25″ wide × 1.4″ diameter, fits every dispenser we've tested, including our own and the popular leash-clip brands.
How many bags per roll?
15 bags per roll. 18 rolls = 270 bags; the 32-roll pack = 480 bags. Each bag is 9″ × 13″, fits a Frenchie deposit through a Mastiff one.
What if a bag tears?
Happy Dog Promise, just tell us and we'll work with you until it's right: a fresh pack, a swap, store credit, or a refund. Usually nothing to send back.
How long does a pack last?
For one dog on twice-daily walks: 18 rolls (270 bags) ≈ 4-5 months, and the 32-roll pack (480 bags) ≈ 8 months. Multi-dog households are typically half.
